Early morning departure.
Upon arrival in Washington, D.C., begin with a visit to the magnificent Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, where President John F. Kennedy's funeral Mass was celebrated in 1963.
Continue to one of the most important Catholic pilgrimage sites in North America:

• Attend Holy Mass

• Visit numerous beautiful chapels dedicated to various cultures and saints

After Mass enjoy lunch at one of the Smithsonian Museum cafeterias.

Travel to historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

• Scenic overlooks
• Visitor Center
• Time to appreciate one of America's most significant historic sites

Continue to Emmitsburg.

Continue to Baltimore.
Baltimore Basilica
Visit the historic Baltimore Basilica (Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary), recognized as America's First Cathedral, designed by Benjamin Henry Latrobe.
Baltimore Inner HarborEnjoy free time to:

• Walk along the waterfront
• Browse shops
• Relax at cafés
• Enjoy dinner on your own

Overnight in the Baltimore area.

Day 3 – Philadelphia - Birthplace of America & Catholic Heritage
Breakfast.
Travel to Philadelphia.

Visit the shrine containing the relics of St. John Neumann, one of America's beloved saints.
Historic Philadelphia Walking TourVisit:

Lunch in Historic Philadelphia.

Day 4 – Newark • New York City The Big Apple & Catholic Legacy
Breakfast.
Travel to Newark, New Jersey.

Attend Holy Mass in one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the United States.
Continue to Manhattan.
Central Park, Brief stop to visit:

Visit New York City's world-famous cathedral on Fifth Avenue.
Lunch near Chelsea Market.
Church of Our Lady of Pompeii:
Visit the church where St. Frances Xavier Cabrini ministered to Italian immigrants during her missionary work in New York.
If time permits, enjoy a brief walk through Greenwich Village before departing for home.
Arrival in the evening.
