CANCELLATION POLICY
1.1. MARCO POLO USA Inc. (hereinafter - MP TRAVEL) acts as an independent agent of airlines, transport companies, hotels, cruises and other companies providing services to tourists, and is not responsible for the actions of these companies.
2. MP TRAVEL organizes and conducts excursions in Russian according to the schedule and prices set by the company. The promotional price of the tour is based on accommodation in a 2-bed hotel room.
3. For excursions, modern comfortable vehicles with all amenities are provided. The type of transport provided is selected by the company and depends on the number of tourists in the group.
4. The tour is considered booked upon prepayment; booked seats are guaranteed with timely full payment of the tour. If the client did not pay for the tour on time in accordance with clause 4.1, the tour is canceled and the prepayment is not refunded.
4.1 Bus tours from New York must be paid in full one week before arrival, the rest of the tours one month before the start of the tour. If the tour is booked in a shorter time, the full cost of the tour is paid.
4.2 The responsibility to pay for the tour on time falls on the client.
5. MP TRAVEL is not responsible for the presence, authenticity and correctness of the tourist's documents for traveling abroad, as well as for the refusal of the embassy or consulate of a foreign state to issue a visa to the tourist.
6. MP TRAVEL reserves the right to change hotels on the route to equivalent or higher class, if not agreed and paid in advance.
7. Tourists arrive at the start of the tour at the specified time and place. If you do not appear and/or are late for the excursion, the money is not returned, the excursion is not transferred, the loan is not provided. Refunds are not made when the tourist did not get on the excursion or lagged behind the group due to non-compliance with MP TRAVEL recommendations for organizing the tour (for example, the time of arrival at the airport or the time of meeting with the group, etc.).
8. Return is also not made if it is impossible for a tourist to complete the route, in whole or in part, due to non-compliance with public order conditions or legal norms in the host country. All expenses in this situation are borne by the tourist.
9. MP TRAVEL strongly recommends purchasing an INSURANCE POLICY in case of cancellation or interruption of the tour by customers, as well as in case of the need for medical assistance during the travel period or loss of baggage.
10. If a tourist refuses to participate in the tour, a refund is made with the application of penalties in accordance with the date of notification of refusal. For bus excursions:
  • for 90 days or more, 25% of the tour price is withheld;
  • for 89-30 days 30% of the tour price is withheld;
  • for 29-15 days 40% of the tour price is withheld;
  • for 14-10 days 50% of the tour price is withheld;
  • For a period of 9 days or less before the trip, the money is not returned
  • For excursions with air travel:
  • for 90 days or more, 25% of the tour price is withheld;
  • for 89-30 days 30% of the tour price is withheld;
  • for 29-15 days 40% of the tour price is withheld;
  • for 14-10 days 50% of the tour price is withheld;
  • for a period of 9 days or less before the trip, the money is not returned.
The air ticket is returned according to the airline's fares.
It is allowed to postpone the date of the air tour, while the tourist pays the corresponding costs associated with the postponement.
11. For complex complex tours, if you refuse the tour after booking, an additional fee of $100 per person is charged.
11. 1.  When paying for a tour by credit card and the client refuses the tour, the refund is made minus the following 4% of bank expenses.
THE BANK, PAYPAL AND ANOTHER TRANSACTION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
* This amount is charged in addition to the penalties for canceling the tour.
12. MP TRAVEL envisages a possible change in the route of the tour or its components, the schedule of movement or the procedure for conducting tours, depending on objective circumstances (repair work, weather conditions, etc.), while maintaining, if possible, the volume of services included in the tour price.
13. In exceptional cases, MP TRAVEL reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the trip, and the client is refunded the full amount of payment, full credit or any other tour, as agreed. The exception is force majeure, when the need to cancel a tour occurs for reasons beyond the control of the company: acts of war and terrorism, unforeseen natural disasters, etc., when the company issues, in relation to each specific case, a special document on returns and cancellations, acting in the interests of customers.
14. MP TRAVEL is not responsible for the loss of baggage and other property of tourists during the travel period; loss of health or life due to an accident that occurred during travel. Such cases are covered by the insurance policies of subcontractors or the insurance policy of the client.
15. The MP TRAVEL client is independently, personally responsible for the decision to take part in the tour, as well as for the life and health of his and his family members during the trip.
16. MP TRAVEL is not responsible for airline actions, flight cancellations or reschedulings, changes in flight schedules or landing places.Material damage may be covered by the insurance company or airline.
17. The cancellation and refund policy is valid from the moment of making a deposit for the tour.
18. MOST AIR TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
